Kantar’s data storage servers are located in the United States of America (USA) and are managed by both ourselves and third party service providers.
We take appropriate technological and organisational measures to protect your personal data, both during transmission and once we receive it. Our security procedures are consistent with generally accepted standards used to protect personal data.
All our employees are contractually obliged to follow our policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, security and privacy.
We take reasonable steps to keep personal data in our possession or control accurate, complete and current, based on the most recent information made available to us by you and/or by our partners.
We rely on you to help us keep your personal data accurate, complete and current by answering our questions honestly. You are responsible for ensuring that you notify us of any changes to your personal data.
We recognize the need to provide further privacy protections with respect to personal data collected from children. We never knowingly collect personal data about children under the legal age set by the authorities in the country in which you reside to participate in research studies without parental permission. If it is necessary and appropriate to a particular project to directly involve children under the legal age, we take measures to ensure we have been given permission by their parent or legal guardian.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from anyone under the appropriate age without appropriate consent as required by applicable law, we will delete this information from our database of active Respondents.

When you do this, we will place an opt-out cookie on your device that will identify you as having no interest in further surveys or sweepstakes/contest invitations. Please note that if you remove cookies from your device, you could receive another invitation since our technology will have no way of knowing if an invitation has been previously offered.
Panel Partner Respondents
If you are a Respondent due to your participation in a Panel (a “Panel Partner Respondent”), you will not be invited to participate in one of our sweepstakes, nor will we ask you for your email address. If you no longer wish to participate as a Panel Partner Respondent, you can either opt out through us or through your Panel company.
Information about use of our Site
Disclosure of Information
When a Respondent supplies their personal information, such as an email address or phone number, during the course of completing a survey or sweepstakes/contest it may be shared with our vendors and subcontractors to manage our business activities, such as sweepstakes/contest management. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us and not for their own benefit or other purposes.
If a user wishes to participate in future surveys, we may request an email address. Out of respect for our users' privacy, we also enable users to prevent the receipt of future survey invitations by following the Opt-Out practices outlined above.
At a user's request, we may communicate via email, chat, or telephone to answer service-related questions. Emails and/or chats transcripts may be maintained by us to provide assistance in resolving any inquiries.
We may transfer your information in connection with the sale, merger, reorganization or change of control of our company or the division responsible for the services with which your information is associated or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding.
If you contact us through the Site to inquire about a job or ask a question, then we may use and disclose your contact information as necessary to process your request, such as considering your application for employment.
Maintaining, Updating, Deleting, or Deactivating Personal Information
If a user's personal information (such as phone number, email or postal address) changes, or if a user no longer wishes to use our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personal information. This can be done by emailing Customer Support through one of the contact methods listed below. We will attempt to respond to any request within 30 days of submitting the request.
Those subject to EU protection laws have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data from our systems, unless we have legitimate interest reasons for continuing to process it. You may also have the following rights if we hold personal information about you:

Personal data will be retained only for such period as is appropriate for its intended and lawful use. Personal data that is no longer required will be disposed of in ways that ensure their confidential nature is not compromised.
As part of our business continuity plan and in certain instances the law, our electronic systems are backed up and archived. These archives are retained for a defined period of time in a strictly controlled environment. Once expired, the data is deleted systematically to ensure the data is erased completely.
Aggregated data, which does not give us the ability to contact or identify an individual, will be stored for analytical purposes for as long as it has a business purpose.
We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and resolve disputes.
